What we say:

We absolutely love the concept of the adidas S2G golf shoe. It fills a niche that has pretty much remained vacant till now; lightweight, winter golf shoes. Ok, so there are plenty of very waterproof golf shoes out there, but few of them are as light as these. Plus, the S2G has even more waterproofing than most. The other winter-specific golf shoes on the market are bulky to say the least, and don't promote walking the course. There is fore sure a large demographic of diehard golfers who play year-round, and prefer walking instead of riding. While the traction isn't the best purely in terms of grip, it is nonetheless great for walking and still gets the job done in terms of grip. What makes the Adidas S2G even more appealing is that it's a great bargain. For under $100, you get a lot for your money. As we keep reiterating, this is more of a winter golf shoe, and may get quite hot in the summer.
