What we say:

The ASICS GEL-ACE PRO 5 BOA is a really high performance golf shoe. It boasts some amazing support with the help of the BOA closure system, the bootie construction, and the external heel counter, which combine to keep your feel perfectly stable during the swing. This BOA system also allows for those small little on-course micro-adjustments that aren't possible with traditional laces, which adds to ease and comfort. What really surprised us about the GEL-ACE PRO 5 BOA is its level of comfort. The propel technology in the midsole creates a lot of "bounce" that saves energy throughout the round. Our only minor issue is that for the price, we were hoping for a bit more weather resilience. It does fine in warm weather, but may get a bit hot in extreme temps. However, although it is water-resistant, it won't really hold up in really rainy conditions. We recommend the GEL-ACE PRO 5 BOA for the low handicap golfer in need of ultimate comfort and support/stability.
