What we say:
The Athalonz EnVe golf shoe brings quite a bit of innovation to the table. Whether or not these technologies actually have an impact is up for debate. Regardless, we're impressed with what Athalonz has managed to do with the EnVe. We should start with what we're impressed with the most, which is comfort. The EnVe's bootie construction really is comfortable, as is the cushioning and flexibility. This culminates into all day walking comfort. The EnVe is also pretty darn supportive, with subtle technologies such as the anti-sway insole and again, the bootie construction. Though the toe box is waterproof, the shoe as a whole is only water-resistant, which means it will fend of morning dew but not a whole lot more. The spikeless traction system is innovative, yet we find it doesn't really outperform other types of spikeless traction systems. At nearly $200, the Athalonz EnVe is a bit on the pricey side, and we thus recommend it for mid to low handicappers looking for something original and comfortable who don't mind dishing out the big bucks for something different.
