Our rating for the Callaway Women's Solana XT is a bit misleading because we feel that it is actually better than its score. This is due to the "waterproof" category, which brings the rating down quite a bit. The Ladies Solana XT was never designed to withstand water, and thus we must admit our score is a bit unfair. If we look at it for what it is, which is a summer/hot weather golf shoe, the Solana XT Women is one of the best out there. It's super comfortable and yes, you guessed it, really really breathable. We like that although it's primarily a mesh golf shoe, it features a synthetic stability cage that actually adds support during the swing. The spikeless traction system is good in that along with providing plenty of grip from every angle, it also feels great when walking. This brings us to the next point, which is that the Womens Solana XT is versatile in that it looks good when worn off the course, and the traction system provides comfort on all surfaces. We recommend the Solana XT Ladies for those who play in hot, dry weather and demand lightweight breathability, comfort and support.
