The FootJoy ARC XT Boa is very similar to the ARC SL, In fact, aside from a view aesthetic differences, the uppers are essentially the same. The only real differences are Boa system and the spiked traction, which combines the already amazing spikeless traction with removable Pulsar spikes. This has created some of the best traction you will find in a golf shoe. The awesome thing about this golf shoe is that it was designed for your average weekend golfer in need of something reliable without all the thrills. It's not often you see new Boa golf shoes starting at the low $100s, let alone ones that are really comfortable and offer fantastic traction. The DuraTrax TPU outsole is what stood out the most to us; durable, feels good when walking and of course has amazing grip. The ARC XT Boa was designed with walking in mind, and all its cushioning really pays off after a long 18. Nothing about the ARC XT Boa is lacking, although it could offer a bit more support during the swing. All in all, we're thoroughly impressed with the FootJoy ARC XT Boa. It almost goes without saying that the Boa system isn't a gimmick at all, and really does keep the foot very secure with its down and back feeling.
