We've always appreciated how FootJoy offers such an array of golf shoes, from some of the cheapest out there to some of the most expensive. We mostly consider their pricing to be fair, basically getting what you pay for. This is the case with the FootJoy eComfort. It's a great shoe for mid to high handicappers who don't demand too much in the way of performance. That being said, we were pleasantly surprised by how effective the traction system is. As far as grip is concerned, the Duramax outsole with Pulsar cleats can match up against any. The synthetic upper does a pretty good job of keeping your feet dry, but isn't the most breathable. We therefore recommend the eComfort for mild to cool/cold conditions. All this being said, it's hard to be critical of a golf shoe for well under $100.
