As its name implies, the FootJoy FLEX LE2 is very similar to the original FootJoy Flex. In fact, pretty much all of the technology is the same, save for a couple things. The FLEX series is designed specifically for hot, dry conditions, so its overall score is a bit misleading because the "waterproofing" category brings the score down quite a bit. It goes without saying that the FLEX LE2 is really, really breathable. Its mesh upper looks awesome, as does the overall design of the shoe. We can confidently say that the FLEX LE2 is one of the most breathable casual style golf shoes on the market. Another standout feature of this lightweight, mesh golf shoe is its comfort. It feels more like you're wearing a sock than an actual shoe, let alone a golf shoe! The traction and support aren't the best we've seen as far as golf-specific performance is concerned, but the shoe definitely feels great for off-course activities as well. If you're looking for a versatile, stylish summer golf shoe, the FLEX LE2 is a great option.
