The big difference between the FootJoy Flex LX Womens Golf Shoe and other women's Flex models is the leather upper. While this adds an extra bit of style, it seems to hinder performance a bit, mainly because it feels hotter, yet isn't really waterproof. Nonetheless, the Flex XL Women has retained the versatility that Flex models are renowned for, and literally fits in in any setting/environment. The VersaTrax tread aides in this versatility, providing plenty of flexible comfort along the way. Although the upper is leather, it's really thin, which doesn't seem to help in the way of support, which is lacking a bit. We recommend the Ladies Flex LX for the fashion-conscious golfer who is also on a budget, because at under $100, these golf shoes are a good deal.
