The FootJoy Flex XP Women's golf shoe shares almost the same technology and overall design as the original FJ Flex Women. Aside from some superficial differences in terms of looks, the main difference between the two is that the Flex XP Women is waterproof. For a mesh golf shoe, it does a pretty decent job of fending off moisture while of course maintaining excellent breathability. Another noticeable difference is the collar around the ankle, which is a bit more sock-like and snug. As far as traction is concerned, it's versatile, which means is allows the shoe to be worn in all sorts of environments on and off the course. While it doesn't necessarily provide the perfect golf-specific traction of other FootJoy womens golf shoes, it certainly does the job. While the overall support of the Ladies Flex XP isn't anything to write home about, it's still enough to maintain confidence in the shoe. We recommend the FootJoy Ladies Flex XP for those looking for a lightweight, breathable golf shoe that also keeps out water in wet conditions.
