The FootJoy Fuel Sport, as you may have guessed, is very similar to the original FJ Fuel. The Fuel Sport, however, is mesh instead of synthetic leather. Without sacrificing much waterproofing at all, this mesh upper adds quite a bit more breathability. This breathable, waterproof combination isn't easy to find, so well done to FJ for getting it done. The FootJoy Fuel Sport, in our opinion, is a perfect golf shoe for beginner to intermediate players. While it is certainly suitable for golfers of all abilities and swing speeds, we think it fits the aforementioned demographic the best. We say this because it's a really solid, all-around golf shoe that doesn't feature anything outstanding performance-wise, yet doesn't lack at all in any category. The FJ Fuel Sport, as previously mentioned, can also be worn year-round, which is great for those who don't want to buy shoes for varying weather conditions. The outsole feels great when walking and grips really well too, with new Stability Bridge adding that extra bit of lateral stability. Perhaps our favorite aspect of this shoe is its durability, which will without a doubt attract those who want a pair of golf shoes to last at least a couple seasons. If you're in need of a durable, all-around solid golf shoe that won't break the bank, the FJ Fuel Sport is a great option.
