As you may have accurately guessed, all three of the FootJoy Premiere Series golf shoe models are very similar. Aside from a few aesthetic differences, almost everything is the same. That being said, there are noticeable differences in the outsole, with the Tarlow and Packard offering removable spiked traction, while the Flint is spikeless. We are absolute suckers for sleek, classic designs, and the FootJoy Premiere Series - Tarlow is precisely what gets us excited. A golf shoe can look as good as it wants, but without solid performance, it's not very useful. Luckily, the Premiere Series - Tarlow focuses equally on aesthetics and performance. Classic style golf shoes aren't always the most comfortable, however, the FJ Tarlow boasts awesome comfort with its soft sheepskin linings and innovative footbed. The Pittards leather is a touch more breathable than synthetic leathers, and is solidly waterproof, which makes this FJ shoe great for year-round play. The FJ Tarlow offers FootJoy's newest traction system (VersaTrax), and when combined with 9 Pulsar cleats, creates some of the most effective grip on any surface that you're going to find.. All of these high quality materials and technology aren't cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for in this case. We recommend the FJ Premiere Series Tarlow for the fashion-conscious golfer who values on-course elegance and high-quality performance.
