Just as we predicted, the New Balance Fresh Foam PaceSL is an awesome golf shoe. The key here is "Fresh Foam". Every time this is in the name of a NB golf shoe, it's amazing. And this is no exception. Aside from the aesthetics of the shoe, which we are rather ambivalent about, everything about this New Balance sport golf shoe is amazing. Perhaps the best selling point is its year-round wearability. The mesh upper provides plenty of airflow in hot weather, yet is still guaranteed to be waterproof for two years. The spikeless traction allows the Fresh Foam PaceSL to be worn everywhere, so you don't even have to change shoes before and after the round. While the side lace system doesn't look the best, it does definitely provide extra stability, which is great because mesh golf shoes traditionally don't excel in this category. All of this fantastic performance comes in at just under $100, making it of the best bargains out there at the moment.
