We're quite impressed with the New Balance Sweeper. It's no surprise that NB came out with another sport-style golf shoe, nor is it a surprise that it's pretty darn good. First of all, it looks cool. This can't be said for every NB golf shoe, so kudos for style. It's also one of the company's most comfortable golf shoes. The cushioning is unbelievable, and makes walking the course a joy. This being said, the Sweeper isn't the most breathable golf shoe out there, so while it certainly can be used year-round, we recommend it more for cooler conditions, especially since it's waterproofing is awesome. The Sweeper also has great traction. You get a good feel of the ground while still maintaining plenty of cushioning and grip. Our one minor complaint is that we would like to see a bit more support during the swing. All in all, the Sweeper is perfect for mid-handicappers who can appreciate its affordable price and awesome comfort and traction.
