What we say:
Kudos to Nike for coming up with another unique golf shoe. The Nike Air Max 1 G combines retro style with modern technology, creating a golf shoe that not only looks amazing, but performs up to par as well. It certainly isn't the best golf shoe Nike has developed in terms of golf-specific performance, but like we said, it does hold its own. What the Air Max 1 G does very well is combining style with functionality. It is really comfortable and surprisingly lightweight, which makes it great for walking the course. The Air Max 1 G isn't the best for extreme conditions, whether it be really hot or rainy and cold, however, it is plenty sufficient in most conditions. It also doesn't offer the best support during the swing, nor is the traction the best in the world. We recommend the the Air Max 1 G for mid level golfers looking for style above all else, yet still demand comfort and functionality.
