We already love the original Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour, so it's no surprise that we love the Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour Shield as well! Much of the technology is the same, with a few differences. The differences lie in the actual design of the shoe, with the Shield covering the ankles, whereas the original does not. This is solely for waterproofing and warming purposes, as, after all, the Shield was designed for cold, wet weather. We should emphasize that this is definitely not a year-round golf shoe, and should only be worn in cold conditions. The rest of the shoe is pretty much the same as the original Air Zoom Infinity Tour, including the traction system and the Zoom air unit. The Zoom air unit received a lot of hype, and has lived up to this hype by providing some of the most responsive cushioning out there. Featuring piston spikes, the Air Zoom Infinity Tour Shield ensures you stay planted to the ground in wet/slippery conditions.
