The PUMA IGNITE NXT LACE golf shoe is almost identical to the PUMA IGNITE NXT Pro, except its upper is more mesh and less synthetic leather. This minor difference makes the LACE slightly more breathable than the Pro, and just a tad less waterproof. However, the differences are amost negligible, and thus don't even warrant a change in our ratings. Keeping true to the IGNITE tradition, the PUMA IGNITE NXT LACE Golf Shoe looks, feels, and performs amazingly. Aesthetically, it's very similar to the IGNITE PWRSPORT, which looks awesome by the way. In fact, much of the performance technology carries over as well. The PWRCAGE and PWRFRAME technologies complement each other, essentially creating one of the most supportive and stable sport-style golf shoes out there. PUMA went on to add the SoleShield to the IGNITE NXT LACE, which makes it even more durable than it already is. We should also mention that it is great for year-round play, as it is quite breathable and waterproof. The updated traction pattern really does add a bit of comfort, which makes the IGNITE NXT LACE great for walking the course. Basically what we're trying to say is that this shoe is fantastic, and can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. Keep in mind that it runs about a half size long.
