What we say:
In this heyday of golf shoe design, it's hard to be surprised and impressed by new models, which is why the PUMA RS-G is all the more impressive. With the bulky sneaker trend making a comeback, the RS-G is among the most fashion-forward golf shoes out there. Admittedly, it's not for everyone, but even those who don't care for the look can still appreciate its fresh design. Based on the look of the shoe, we figured it would be more for all-around wear and less for golfing specifically. In a sense this hypothesis was correct, but the shoe did provide more grip and support than we were expecting. The RS-G was definitely designed with versatility in mind, which means you can go straight from your morning walk to the course without changing shoes. Aside from aesthetics, what we like the most about the RS-G is its comfort. It's fantastic for walking the course year-round, even if the traction may slip a bit in wet conditions, just because of its all-terrain design. Needless to say, we recommend the PUMA RS-G for the fashion-conscious who place a high value on comfort.
