The Skechers GO GOLF Max - Fairway 2 is expectedly similar to the original Skechers GO GOLF Max. However, there are enough differences to make them stand out from each other. The most noticeable difference is in the upper, with the GO GOLF Max - Fairway 2 consisting more of mesh while the GO GOLF Max is more synthetic. This makes the Max - Fairway 2 slightly more breathable and less waterproof. Speaking of waterproofing, while the Max - Fairway 2 is "water-resistant", it won't fend of rain very well. It was designed more as a summer shoe with morning dew in mind. This breathability combined with light feel and amazing cushioning makes the Max - Fairway 2 a great option for hot summer conditions. At just $90, we recommend the GO GOLF Max - Fairway 2 for those in need of decent performance, high comfort, and durability at an affordable price.
