The Skechers GO GOLF Torque - Brogan joins the very short list of winter-specific golf shoes. This is a necessary niche to fill, as winter conditions plague a lot of die hard golfers. The problem with rating a shoe like this is that it's always bound to score lower than it perhaps should, simply because the breathability category drags it down. To state the obvious, winter golf shoes such as the GO GOLF Torque - Brogan were not made with breathability in mind. In fact, they are desgned to do the opposite. Although to give credit where it's due, the Torque - Broan does feature a bit of mesh on the paneling. However, this doesn't really seem to add much breathability. Now let's talk about what really counts...waterproofing. This is easily in the top 3 of the warmest, most waterproof golf shoes in the world. It's also really comfortable, and has amazing traction that will keep your feet firmly planted  no matter how wet the ground is. If you're not willing to put the clubs away for winter, the GO GOLF Torque - Brogan could be really useful in the depths of cold, winter days.
