The Stuburt Evolve DRI-Back is very similar to the Evolve Tour DRI-Back, the only differences being a slight aesthetic difference in the upper, and the outsole, which is spikeless instead of spiked. Although this version is spikeless, it grips almost as well as the spiked version, which says a lot about how good it is. Because the Evolve DRI-Back is spikeless, it is slightly more comfortable for walking than the Evolve Tour DRI-Back. The Stuburt Evolve DRI-Back is a mid-range golf shoe that is plenty durable, but doesn't really stand out. The two things we like the most about the Evolve DRI-Back are its awesome comfort and traction. These are by far the best features this golf shoe offers. It is more of a Fall/Winter shoe, which means although it's definitely comfortable enough to walk the course, you might get a bit hot on warmer days. The spikeless traction is among the best we've seen, which is great for wet weather as slippage won't be an issue. As we just alluded to, the Evolve DRI-Back isn't the most breathable golf shoe in the world, nor does it offer a whole lot of support. While the support is sufficient, it doesn't really compare to some of the other performance golf shoes. We recommend the Evolve DRI-Back for mid to high handicappers in colder climates who want something comfortable and reliable.
