What we say:

 

Aside from aesthetics, the Under Armour HOVR Fade 2 Spikeless golf shoe is pretty much the same as the original UA HOVR Fade. As far as Under Armour golf shoes go, the UA HOVR Fade 2 SL is among the more affordable ones. As expected, it doesn't come with some of the technical features of the higher priced models, and is made with slightly less quality microfiber. However, the rest of the shoe pretty much copies the more, shall we say, advanced models. What we're most impressed with is the comfort and traction system. It boasts the same HOVR technology as the other UA golf shoes, which means comfort is at a premium. The traction system is the Rotational Resistance technology, which keeps you firmly planted to the ground no matter the conditions. Unfortunately, the HOVR Fade 2 doesn't do very well in extreme weather, likely overheating in hot conditions and allowing water to seep through in the rain. Nonetheless, it's affordable and an all around solid golf shoe, which will attract beginner to intermediate golfers looking for comfort and durability.
