The Women's Under Armour Fade SL Sunbrella is identical to the original Women's Fade SL, except its upper are Sunbrella textile/fabric instead of leather. Aside from aesthetics, this doesn't really change anything about the shoe, except perhaps adding a tad bit more breathability. Although we don't think the Women's Under Armour Fade SL Sunbrella is the best looking women's golf shoe they have ever produced, it certainly is one of their best bargains. For $110, you really get a lot. First of all, it's really comfortable, and we love the extra cushioning at the heel. Throw in a flexible and grippy outsole into the mix, and you have a really good golf shoe. This outsole is very adaptable, meaning it's great for walking but also grips really well, even in pretty wet conditions. The UA Fade SL Sunbrella Women can be worn year-round, though perhaps beware that it may not be the best for extreme conditions on either end of the spectrum. Although it's not the most supportive ladies golf shoe out there, it certainly does the trick for most golfers. We recommend the Women's Fade SL Sunbrella for mid handicappers in need of high-level performance and durability at a very affordable price.
