The ECCO Golf BIOM Cool Pro golf shoe is, in a way, very similar to other BIOM golf shoes, yet quite different at the same time. As is the case with just about every ECCO golf shoe, the BIOM Cool Pro is high quality, both in terms of what it's made of and durability. It is certainly geared to the more affluent golfer who desires nothing but the best materials. However, for the rest of us, the Golf BIOM Cool Pro is just a bit too pricey. Having said this, if you do find yourself dishing out the big bucks, you won't be disappointed. Perhaps the best feature of the Golf BIOM Cool Pro is its combination of breathability and waterproofing, allowing it to be worn in most types of weather. The supple yak leather is really comfortable, which is complimented by the FluidForm midsole. We were just a bit disappointed with the shoe's support during the swing, both in terms of stabilizing the mid/upper foot and grip. Nonetheless, if you're in the market for a year-round, very high-quality golf shoe, this could be the one.
