The FootJoy ARC SL was designed for your average weekend golfer in need of something reliable without all the thrills. Let's just say FootJoy accomplished their goal, and then some. It's not often you see new golf shoes starting at under $100, let alone ones that are really comfortable and offer fantastic traction. The DuraTrax TPU outsole is what stood out the most to us; durable, feels good when walking and of course has amazing grip. The ARC SL was designed with walking in mind, and all its cushioning really pays off after a long 18. Nothing about the ARC SL is lacking, although it's not the best in extreme weather on either end of the spectrum, nor does it offer too much support during the swing. Nonetheless, we're thoroughly impressed with the ARC SL.
