The FootJoy Contour Series golf shoe is very similar to the FootJoy Contour Casual. Aside from minor aesthetic differences, the uppers are essentially the same. The outsole is where you'll find the biggest difference, with the Contour Series featuring 6 removable spikes. These cleats add that extra bit of grip without really sacficing any comfort, which is a huge plus. The FootJoy Contour Series is another great addition to the company's casual line up. It's quite comfortable with it's flexible outsole, but could perhaps offer a bit more cushioning. As with the Contour Casual, the Contour Series has effective waterproofing and can be worn year-round, though it may get a bit hot in warmer conditions. As expected, it doesn't offer a whole lot of support, but the traction system does keep you firmly planted to the ground in all conditions. If you're in the market for a really cool-looking casual golf shoe that has golf-specific performance features hiding underneath, this is a great option. The Contour Series is one of the few spiked casual golf shoes out there, so it definitely fills a niche.
