What we say:
Before we get into the details, let's just say that the FootJoy Flex golf shoe was designed with one thing in mind; summer. Which is most likely why it just recently came out. As with many golf shoes designed for hot, dry weather, the FJ Flex is made mostly of mesh, which means it's very breathable, flexible and comfortable. We don't think it's the coolest-looking golf shoe FootJoy has ever created, but it certainly fits the look of summer shoes. What we love most about the Flex is also why it received less points, which has to do with breathability and traction. It goes without saying that highly breathable mesh golf shoes aren't very waterproof, and traction designed for off and on-course use isn't going to be as grippy as traction systems designe solely for on course-use. Because of this, the FootJoy Flex's rating doesn't do it justice. If you're looking for an extremely versatile, comfortable and breathable golf shoe, we highly recommend the FJ Flex.
