What we say:

Although the FootJoy Superlites XP isn't the best quality or best performing golf shoe out there, it's one of the better bargains. At under $100, it still boasts pretty solid traction and a decent amount of comfort. Although it is marketed as more of a summer golf shoe, it performs quite well in colder, wet conditions as well. In fact, the Superlites XP will probably overheat a bit in hot conditions because of its synthetic upper. While the traction is great for walking and also performs brilliantly during the swing, we can't really say the same for the support in the upper. There just isn't much there, particularly if you've got a high swing speed. Nonetheless, like we said before, at this price you can't expect to have everything the high end golf shoes have. We recommend the Superlites XP for beginner to mid handicap golfers who are looking for a good deal on a year-round shoe.
