We were so impressed with the New Balance Fresh Foam X Defender! It's supposed to be one of the higher performing golf shoes from NB, and it did not let us down. What we love about New Balance is that even though the Fresh Foam X Defender is considered their high performance golf shoe, it is still very, very affordable. At under $130, you get so much in this shoe that you would be paying a lot more for with other brands. The FantomFit upper is surprisingly breathable, while at the same time holds up remarkably well in wet conditions. Combine this with amazing midsole and insole cushioning technology, and you have one of the best performance golf shoes for walking. The traction system can be relied on to deliver maximum grip in every condition, while the overall support of the Fresh Foam X Defender is good but not great. We definitely recommend the NB Fresh Foam X Defender for golfers of all abilities, but particularly for the more advanced golfers who can appreciate all the performance on offer.
