What they say:
The Nike Janoski G golf shoe pairs the minimal look of a classic low-top skate shoe with the grip and cushioning you need to play 18 holes. Janoski's unique profile gives you an iconic design that looks as good off the course as it does on it.
Technology:
*Leather/suede upper - Some models are leather, some are suede
*Foam sockliner - Extra cushioning
*Low-cut collar - It is padded and comfortably hugs your ankles
*Rubber outsole with integrated traction - Features "ridges/grooves" that add grip during the swing
What customers say:
Pros – Comfortable
Durable
Looks cool
Cons – Runs a bit small and narrow
Traction can be slippery on hard surfaces when wet
What we say:
Kudos to Nike for yet another unique, stylish design! The Nike Janoski G golf shoe is all about fashion, and for this it exceeded our expectations. While it certainly offers more golf-specific performance than traditional casual/skate shoes, it lacks a bit in traction and support when on the course. While this traction system is good for walking on grass, it doesn't offer a whole lot of lateral support during the actual swing, and can be quite slippery on wet concrete. Because of its nature, the Janoski G doesn't offer much support in the uppers, as its low-cut collar kind of takes away that support. What we're trying to say is that it would be really, really difficult to create a golf shoe like this one that also offered outstanding golf-specific performance. We recommend the Janoski G for the fashion-conscious who don't demand a whole lot of support, and also don't want to break the bank.
